Killing Veerappan Overall collection
Killing Veerappan is written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma, based on the events leading to Operation Cocoon to capture or kill Indian bandit Veerappan.The film is being shot primarily in the Kannada language, and being simultaneously dubbed into Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil languages, featuring Shivaraj Kumar in the central role of Senthamarai Kannan, the Superintendent of police, with the Indian Special Task Force, and the spy who masterminded Operation Cocoon.
The early reports say that "Killing Veerappan" had around 70-80% occupancy in Bengaluru and it comes to 65% if the entire state is taken into the consideration. The film could have performed a lot better if Yash's "Masterpiece" was not in theatres as it dominated the screens in the state.
So far, the reviews for "Killing Veerappan" has garnered decent to good reviews and this will ensure that the Shivaraj Kumar starrer to have a great first weekend at the box office. The early estimation says that the movie has made above Rs 4.50 crore on the first day.

The Kannada version was released in over 200 screens in the state of Karnataka on January 1, 2016. The film has collected over Rs 30 crores in the state of Karnataka. The Telugu version was released over 300 screens on January 7, 2015 in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the United states to rave reviews by the critics, and has collected over Rs 30 crore.
So on the whole adding its Kannada version box office collection = Rs 30 crore and telgu version box office collection = Rs 30 crore . Its overall collection is Rs 60 crore.
